Bluesfest 2011
Easter 2011, my Dad and I headed to Bluesfest in Byron Bay for a five day event.
Some of the performances we saw were ZZ Top, BB King, The Blind Boys Of Alabama, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Nat Cole and the Kings, C W Stoneking, Tim Robbins, Trombone Shorty and much more.

Powderfinger – Riverfire Riverstage 2010
At the start of their farewell tour, my brother Peter and I saw Powderfinger live at Riverstage in Brisbane in 2010, on the night of Riverfire.
We stood midway near the back centre, near what appeared to be the mixing booth area.
Little did we know, they disappeared from the main stage and made their way through the crowd, walking directly past us, and onto the mini stage to knock out my two favourite songs – Like A Dog and Belter.

I tried to be creative with my camera (before filming on iPhone was a thing), and late one night in the B105 / Triple M Brisbane station building, I put this together.

B105 Xmas Appeal – Behind The Scenes
Some raw behind the scenes moments in Brisbane breakfast radio. B105 would run an annual christmas appeal, which usually resulted in the breakfast show to broadcast for 27 hours.
I attended a few of them, and in 2009 I randomly recorded the trip of Labby, Camilla & Stav riding the double decker bus from North Quay studios to the top of Mt Coot-tha at around 12am – 1am.
